New Idea Disscussion! CALLING ARI!!!

Okay so this idea was inspired by the portal thing I said earlier. Like what if a couple late teens-early twenties people are just living their lives when they all discover a portal that leads to a gorgeous meadow surrounded by a beautiful wooded area, and smack in the middle is this run down looking mansion (yes, a mansion, not a house, iit just seems so much more chic and...British....and fantasy-esque....) and after a while they all meet and blah blah blah.
I see the story progressing kind of like one of those animes like they meet and the story starts and then it gets all settled and then in the middle its just a bunch of adventures featuring he characters then at the end the story continues because there is some force that disturbs the peace and then they settle the problem and THE END!

Dont worry, thats just the brainstorming bit for coming up with the basic plot. Oh and they are magic, but lets say they either
A) Dont know
B) Do know but keepit a secret
or
C) They only discover their powers before the portal. All alone. No one knows of the magikal-ness.

Also, I dont think their powers shouldnt be like seasonal (winter and summer faeries) but more....based on theur personality. Well really their personalitys be based on their powers....

Okay, so I see Ari having the power of animals (mostly cats), whihc would explain the (soon to come) cat ears and her different attitudes.

As for Angel, I couldn't decide between like snow or ice or something which would go with her snappy, frosty personality, or flowers which would go with her innocent, naive, sweet-girl-who-despite-having-seen-the0world-isnt-part-of-it kind of personality....so Im thhinking she can have the power of all four seasons....

Ashton, as he is a smart-alec-y, bookworm, know-it-all type of person, he can have the ower of supersmarts. (btw, he lives in Oxford.)

What about the others or we just doing these three
